The Night To Remember.

Ria moved into her new Mumbai flat. She was looking for a house for a long time and finally found one, it was not like the house she dreamed of but it was comfortable. Ria was from Kanpur and had come to Mumbai to her further studies in arts.

Ria was still adjusting to the environment of Mumbai. In her college, Ria was the talk among all the girls and boys. Due to her fun and comforting personality, she would always be invited to a lot of parties. Ria was never interested in them and chose to study.

Ria's friends Anika and Anannya encouraged her to start partying as that's what college was about. That weekend Ria decided to attend her first ever party. It was Rohan's party, her college classmate. Ria wore her spaghetti dress and boots. Anika and Anannya dropped out at the last moment so Ria was alone. Ria chose to attend it. As she reached the venue, she was greeted by two of her classmates. Once Ria entered she was lost in dancing and had a gala time.

It was late and Ria was about to leave as Rohan told her that can drop her. At first, Ria hesitated but then she thought for a while. It was night and she was new to the city, Ria agreed. Not long after the car started, Rohan started to touch Ria, she started getting uncomfortable and then ultimately started shouting for help. She was screaming and sobbing but there was no one. Only she could feel her discomfort and pain.

As Ria opened her eyes, she saw her parents. She thought she could comfortably talk to them about yesterday. To her surprise, her parents started questioning her back like what kind of dress she wore? Was it too short? Ria could not digest what her parents were asking her. Instead of what happened? They asked her was it her mistake?

Ria tried explaining to her parents there is nothing she could do. Ria's parents decided to sell her Mumbai flat and drop her out of college to hide the SHAME. It was hard for Ria to live such a life where she didn't even get to the choice of who she wanted to marry.

"When everyone blames me.

The story is spreading like wildfire...

In my heart deep down

There is no one to support me.

And now I don't how to react

OR just give up. "

As she finished writing, she jumped.
